Job Overview
The System Support Officer will play a key role in maintaining IT systems and supporting daily office operations at PERA Enforcement Stations. The selected candidate will assist in managing hardware, software, and network-related issues while also handling administrative responsibilities such as correspondence, procurement, record management, and financial documentation.
The position requires a combination of technical expertise and organizational skills to ensure uninterrupted operations and efficient service delivery.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- At least 16 years of education from a recognized institution.
- Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Networks
- Telecommunication Engineering or related fields
- A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in IT implementation, networking, software development, or related technical areas.
- Experience gained in private-sector organizations will be accepted if the organization is registered with SECP, the Registrar of Firms, or another recognized regulatory authority.
- Valid domicile is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
IT and Technical Support
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Installing, configuring, and updating software applications.
- Monitoring network performance and resolving connectivity issues.
- Coordinating with external IT vendors and service providers when specialized technical support is required.
- Maintaining records of hardware and software assets.
- Managing software updates, system configurations, and technology improvements.
- Overseeing maintenance activities related to hardware, software, and networking infrastructure.
- Keeping track of IT contracts, warranties, and service agreements.
Administration and Office Management
Responsibilities will also include:
- Preparing and managing staff duty rosters.
- Drafting and handling official correspondence with the head office and other departments.
- Maintaining organized records, files, and official documents.
- Assisting with noting and drafting requirements as directed by the SDEO.
- Managing office supplies and procurement processes.
- Coordinating with landlords, utility providers, internet services, and maintenance vendors.
- Handling courier services and distribution of official mail.
- Supporting day-to-day administrative operations of Enforcement Stations.
Finance and Procurement
The role will involve:
- Maintaining records of office expenditures and operational budgets.
- Processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Managing petty cash and performing reconciliations.
- Coordinating the procurement of office supplies and services.
- Assisting in matters related to administration, finance, and procurement.
Reporting and Coordination
The System Support Officer will also:
- Prepare regular reports on IT systems, administrative activities, and expenditures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for both technical and administrative requirements.

Salary and Benefits
