Apple is widely expected to unveil its first-ever foldable smartphone, reportedly named the iPhone Ultra, during its upcoming launch event on September 9, 2026. According to market estimates, the device is likely to enter the ultra-premium smartphone segment with a price tag exceeding $2,000. Industry research firm TrendForce has projected a starting price between $2,099 and $2,299, while other reports have suggested a possible range of $2,000 to $2,500.
Using the State Bank of Pakistan's exchange rate of approximately Rs277.37 per US dollar as of September 8, a price of $2,099 would translate to around Rs582,000. If the device launches closer to $2,200, the cost would approach Rs610,000, placing the expected starting price at roughly Rs615,000 before PTA taxes, customs duties, and other local charges.
It is important to note that these figures are based on industry estimates and currency conversions. Apple has not officially revealed the device’s final price, and the actual cost in Pakistan will depend on the company's announced pricing, exchange rates, import duties, and applicable taxes.
