The Houston-area property, listed for $1.275 million, is now under contract, marking another change for the couple as they settle into a new chapter of their lives.
The couple previously lived in the house while waiting for construction to finish on their custom-built lakefront mansion.
Inside Simone Biles’ Former Houston-Area Home
According to the Houston Business Journal, the property covers 3,998 square feet and sits on more than an acre of land in the gated Castle Court section of Benders Landing Estates in Spring, Texas.
Built in 2019, the home features four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. Its appraised value is approximately $1.2 million.
The property offers a range of upscale features, including two primary suites, a private study and a media room. The kitchen includes quartz countertops, a waterfall island and a concealed pantry.
Other highlights include a stylish wine wall, a sauna and a mudroom equipped with a dog-washing station. Outside, the home features a resort-style swimming pool and a three-car garage.
Real estate agent Melissa Franklin of RE/MAX Integrity confirmed the listing to the publication. Franklin also said she helped Biles purchase the property in 2020.
Couple Finally Moves Into Their Custom-Built Mansion
The pending sale comes after Biles and Owens completed a much bigger real estate project: their custom-designed waterfront home, which took years to build.
The couple began planning the mansion in 2020, but delays involving homeowners association approvals pushed construction back. Work reportedly began in February 2022, turning what was initially expected to be a nine-month project into a much longer process.
When the couple finally received the keys in November 2025, Biles shared her excitement on Instagram.
“Home building requires a lot of patience,” she wrote, reflecting on the lengthy construction process.
She also joked about the original timeline, saying, “They lied when they said nine months to build!”
Since moving in, Biles has offered fans glimpses of the finished property through social media. The home features a spacious kitchen with two islands, marble bathrooms, a swimming pool overlooking the lake, an outdoor cooking area and a dedicated room for the couple’s dogs.
The house also includes a practical feature designed around their everyday routine. Biles revealed that they installed two sets of washers and dryers because Owens always seemed to want to do laundry on the same day.
Jonathan Owens’ NFL Career Brings New Changes
The couple’s housing plans have evolved alongside Owens’ professional football career.
Since their marriage in 2023, Owens has spent time with several NFL teams, including the Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. In March, he signed a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts.
While Owens was playing in Chicago, Biles frequently travelled between Illinois and Texas to balance her personal life and support her husband.
She also recently spoke about a frightening incident involving their Chicago residence, revealing that three masked men stole her Porsche GTS. The vehicle was eventually recovered.
With Owens now playing for Indianapolis, the couple faces another adjustment as they work out where to spend most of their time.
Simone Biles Plans to Spend More Time in Indianapolis
Biles discussed her plans to relocate during an interview in September, explaining that Houston had been her main base for much of the time.
“I've been in Houston most of the time, so I'm going to officially move there [to Indianapolis] a little bit later,” she said.
The Olympic champion has already attended Colts games to support Owens, including a preseason appearance when the pair shared a kiss on the sidelines.
Speaking about watching her husband play, Biles made it clear that his well-being matters most to her.
“I'm just excited to watch my husband,” she said. “It doesn't matter, as long as he's safe and healthy and he's having fun, then I don't care.”
As their former Houston-area home moves closer to finding a new owner, Biles and Owens appear to be entering another phase of their life together, balancing their property plans with the demands of professional sports.
The sale remains pending, meaning the transaction has not yet been confirmed as complete.
