Hollywood actress Hilary Swank has shared some exciting family news: she is pregnant with her third child. The Oscar-winning star announced the news on Wednesday through a playful Instagram video featuring her husband, Philip Schneider, and their three-year-old twins.
Swank, 52, revealed the pregnancy in a creative clip showing the family dancing in the dark with glow sticks attached to their bodies. The video included a special touch, with a baby-shaped glow stick placed over her belly to hint at the newest addition to the family.
“A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December,” Swank wrote in the caption, jokingly presenting her pregnancy as her next big project. The announcement featured the song “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” by Bachman-Turner Overdrive.

Swank and her husband, entrepreneur Philip Schneider, became parents to twins Aya and Ohm in April 2023. The actress previously shared how meaningful the experience was for her, describing the arrival of her children as a moment filled with happiness and emotion.
When she announced the twins’ birth, Swank posted a photograph of herself holding her newborns while looking out at a sunset.
“It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it,” she wrote in the Instagram post, which she shared over Easter.
The couple kept their children's names private for several months before Swank revealed them on Valentine's Day the following year. She shared a beach photograph of the twins, with their names written in the sand.

The actress has also spoken openly about how becoming a mother changed her life. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she described the experience as more joyful and rewarding than she had imagined.
“It’s the best in the whole wide world,” Swank said, explaining that motherhood brought more happiness, fun and exhaustion than she had expected.
She added that the experience was more extraordinary than she could have imagined.
