Punjab Education Minister Conducts English Class for Fifth-Grade Students During School Visit

Lahore: Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat stepped into the role of a teacher during a visit to Government High School Ludhar, where he personally delivered an English lesson to fifth-grade students.

According to local media reports, the minister attended the school as part of his ongoing initiative to engage directly with students and classrooms. Before entering the class, he wore a teacher’s gown and then conducted an interactive English lesson for the young students.

During the session, Rana Sikandar Hayat encouraged students to participate actively and made the lesson engaging and easy to understand. He also announced plans to teach Computer Studies during his next visit, emphasizing the importance of introducing children to technology and digital skills at an early age.

The minister also reviewed progress on instructions and improvements he had recommended during an earlier visit to the school. In addition, he responded to a request from matriculation-level female students by visiting their classroom and delivering a special lecture.

Beyond academics, Rana Sikandar Hayat spent time interacting with students through sports and recreational activities. He joined students in games of badminton and cricket, creating a friendly and encouraging atmosphere during the visit.

The school visit reflects the minister’s earlier commitment to personally visit government schools and teach students, a promise he announced several months ago during a media briefing. His initiative aims to strengthen engagement with students while gaining firsthand insight into classroom learning and school conditions.
