Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Abbas has been named his team’s Player of the Series following an impressive showing in the three-match Test series against England.
Although Pakistan were unable to avoid a 3-0 series defeat, Abbas stood out as one of the side’s most consistent and effective performers throughout the tour. His disciplined bowling and ability to deliver breakthroughs made him a key figure in Pakistan’s attack.
The experienced pacer finished the series with 11 wickets in three Tests, maintaining a bowling average of 27.55. His best performance came during the second Test at Lord’s, where he produced a superb spell of 5 for 57 in England’s second innings. Earlier in the same match, he had also picked up four wickets in the first innings, underlining his impact on the game.
