YouTube sensation MrBeast has added another achievement to his growing list of successes, as his debut novel has climbed to the top spot on Amazon’s Mystery, Thriller & Suspense New Releases chart.
The book, titled The Most Dangerous Games, was released on September 1, 2026 and was co-authored by MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, alongside renowned bestselling writer James Patterson. The novel has also earned a place among the top-selling books in the United States, reaching No. 3 on The New York Times Hardcover Fiction Bestseller List.
The story centers on a high-stakes international competition involving contestants from around the world. Out of 1,000 invited participants, only 100 are selected to take part in a series of intense challenges set in some of the planet’s most extreme environments. From the icy conditions of Antarctica to the waters off Chile and unforgiving desert landscapes, competitors must overcome difficult obstacles for a chance to win a fictional $1 billion grand prize.
